Allegro Releases Pick-up and Delivery Application for Motorola MC9500 Mobile Computer
MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO - (October 7th, 2009) - Allegro Mobile Solutions, a leading Motorola Premier Solution Partner, today announced the release of the latest version of their Pick-up and Delivery application, designed to take advantage of the enhanced capabilities of Motorola’s new MC9500 mobile computer.
Allegro’s Pick-up & Delivery application provides piece level tracking for the pick-up and delivery of freight. The application provides mobile workers with full functionalities for viewing and completing scheduled deliveries and pick-ups, scanning and tracking freight, reporting exceptions, as well as providing access to a range of training videos. Leveraging the MC9500’s built-in accelerometer, the screen rotates when inverted on the signature capture function, ensuring that the content always faces upright. Additionally, the accelerometer is leveraged to log a drop count which can serve to audit the amount of harsh handling the device receives.
