MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO - (August 20th, 2006) - Allegro Mobile Solutions announced today that its software platform, Gelatoware™, achieved co-validation through Symbol Technologies’ SymbolPLUS Solutions Validation Program, guaranteeing interoperability with Symbol mobile devices, wireless infrastructure and mobility management software.
“Allegro became validated faster and smoother than any other validation I’ve worked with since the program started. Their Gelatoware platform is a very effective solution architecture.” said Pat McCullough, vice president and general manager of Symbol’s Solutions Division. The test took place at Symbol’s state of the art Solutions Validation Center in Holtsville, New York. The solutions Allegro provides drive efficiencies in their clients’ businesses, improving productivity while decreasing errors and administration costs.Clients such as Canon Canada and Manitoulin Transport enjoy the process improvements afforded by collecting and transmitting data in real time. “Their level of customer care and quality is what has given us the edge into the future and provided us with an end-to-end solution.” commented Alex Olianski, Sr. Systems Analyst for Canon Canada’s service operation.
Allegro looks to continue its growth as a leader in providing full spectrum mobility solutions in the North American market for transportation/logistics, retail, healthcare, government and field service.
