Savino GriesiCo-Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Savino began his career in wireless by providing mobility solutions for customers such as Unilever and McCain foods as the Vice President of Realtime Inc in Toronto. He has also served as CIO of Nova Tech in Honolulu and as Manager of Logistics at Bell Canada's supply chain solutions team. In 2000 Savino joined AskMe Corp., a Seattle based knowledge sharing portal. In 2002 he ventured to Italy and founded Allegro with former AskMe colleague Wes Rupel. Savino has a Bachelor of Science from York University. Wes RupelCo-Founder, President and Chief Technology Officer.
Wes was part of a team of ten who architected, designed and built Microsoft Windows in the mid eighties. He holds a number of patents from that era for developing innovative algorithms to optimize performance, and was the first recipient of Microsoft’s annual Leonardo da Vinci award for innovation. In 1999 Wes joined another startup, becoming the Development Manager of AskMe Corp., a Seattle based knowledge sharing portal. The company grew from 10 to over 100 under his tenure. In 2002 he left to start Allegro with AskMe colleague Savino Griesi. Wes has a masters in Physics from the University of California at Santa Barbara. |
