MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO - (January 29th, 2009) – Allegro Mobile Solutions announced today that it will be showcasing its MDW Mobile asset management application at the combined OGRA/ROMA conference 2009, to be held February 22nd to 25th 2009 at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto.

The combined Ontario Good Roads Association (OGRA) and the Rural Ontario Municipal Association (ROMA) conference is one of the largest municipal conferences in Canada. With over 2,300 participants, the event attracts the attendance of key ministers and over 120 exhibitors.

With the forthcoming PSAB reporting requirements, there is a pressing need for Municipalities to adopt asset management solutions that enable accurate financial reporting. MDW Mobile, is a wireless data collection tool that is fully integrated to the MDW web-based data repository. This repository is being used by hundreds of municipalities across the country to streamline asset management and evaluation procedures. Utilizing Motorola’s MC75 handhelds, MDW Mobile enables field users to securely collect and upload asset data as well as capture images and GPS coordinates.
